How do I make a link to another site?

- Write the text you want people to click to get to the other site.
- You need to highlight the text you want to link. That might be by using SHIFT and the arrow keys, or SHIFT and the left mouse button or maybe another way for your computer.
- Click the icon that looks like a chain link
- A window will popup. Enter the address. You can choose if the link opens in a new window or not. If you enter a Title then when someone hovers a link with their mouse a ‘tooltip’ will appear with some text (try it and see).
- Click Insert
- Now click the icon like a broken chain.
That’s all there is to it.

Categories help you to file your posts and comments into specific discussion threads. Make sure to file your post under one or more categories or create a new category for your post. There are two ways to create new categories:
1) You can add a category under the “categories” menu on the right hand side of the new post window when before you publish a new post. NOTE: you can not create a subcategory using this option
2) You can create new categories and subcategories through the Dashboard. Go to:
Dashboard>Manage>Categories>Add New
Add a new category.
To make it a subcategory, select a category parent.
The advantages to using the Category menu of the Dashboard are that you do not have to create a post to create a new category and you can create subcategories.

2) Click on “New Post” at the top of the page.
3) From here, simply fill in the boxes with your post’s title, the post itself, and any uploads you would like to include (such as photos). Please BE SURE to give the post a title, because if you don’t, readers won’t be able to tell its relevance.
